It appears that VWoA may have changed something recently (others have posted on VWVortex that the kit works on NAR 2014 Jetta's with the 1.8T). It is supposed to work 'out of the box' ( i.e., no coding required), but it does not. I installed the Traction Control Retrofit Kit from ECS Tuning ( ) in my wife's 2014 VW Jetta SE (1.8T, Tiptronic, Keyless Start, NAR) with a manufacture date of January 2014.
